HOUSING
Designed to reduce homelessness, stabilize housing and improve the health among people living with HIV and AIDS, this practice area focuses on tenants who have received unlawful eviction notices or rent increases, or who have not had security deposits returned. We also assist individuals and families who are living in substandard housing including those who become sick due to unhealthy environments detrimental to their immune systems.

VIVIENDA
Este programa está diseñado para reducir el número de personas  desamparadas, estabilizar la vivienda y la salud dentro de las personas que padecen de VIH y SIDA, esta área de servicio se enfoca en inquilinos que han recibido ordenes de desalojo o incrementos de renta, o a quines no se les ha retornado su deposito de seguridad. También ayudamos a individuos y familias que viven en viviendas inadecuadas incluyendo aquellos que se enferman debido a los contornos insalubres que dañan el sistema de inmunidad.

Assistance

We can assist HIV+ individuals who:

• Have received eviction notices

• Live in buildings in foreclosure

• Want to inherit a partner’s lease

• Have not had a security deposit returned

• Have a large rent increase

• Have been denied a service animal

• Have Section 8 problems with the landlord

• Have Section 8 problems with the Housing Authority

• Live in substandard housing that is detrimental to health
