DISCRIMINATION & CONFIDENTIALITY
This core program assists people who have been discriminated against in their place of employment, in medical care, in schools, or in public accommodations or whose HIV diagnosis has been unlawfully disclosed to others. It ensures employers are providing reasonable accommodations for HIV+ individuals in the workplace and advises clients about the legality and practicality of HIV disclosure.
DISCRIMINACIÓN Y CONFIDENCIALIDAD
Este programa asiste a la personas que han sido discriminadas en sus lugares de trabajo, en sus lugares de servicio médico, en los centros de educación o lugares públicos o a las personas que les haya sido divulgado su estado de VIH ilegalmente a otras personas. Este programa asegura que los empleadores provean acomodaciones razonables para los individuos con VIH en los centros de trabajo, y además aconseja al cliente acerca de la legalidad de divulgar su estado de VIH.

Assistance
We can assist HIV+ individuals who:
- Are treated unfairly in school
- Are fired because of HIV status
- Are denied time-off for medical reasons
- Are refused medical or dental care
- Are segregated in a medical setting
- Have their medical condition disclosed to others
- Were tested for HIV without their knowledge
